Section 1: Child and Household Safety (Required)
Section 2: Natural Gas, Fire, and Weather Safety (Required)
Section 3: Operation and Safety of Gas and Electric Appliances (Required)
- All residents are required to complete Sections 1, 2 and 3.
- We suggest that spouses and appropriately aged children living with the primary resident also complete this orientation.
- You will need your NetID and password to login before beginning the orientation.
- You will need audio capabilities (i.e., speakers, headphones) for the audio/video information in Sections 2 and 3.
- You will complete a short quiz covering Sections 1 and 2 at the end of Section 2.
- You will complete a short quiz covering Section 3 at the end of Section 3.
- You are required to complete both quizzes with a score of 100%. Review the relevant information, then retake the quiz. You may take the quiz as many times as necessary to achieve a 100% score.
- When you have completed each quiz a confirmation email will be sent to your neo email. You will receive one email for each quiz completed. Print the confirmation emails for your records.
Required time: 20-45 minutes
Section 4: Child Car Seat and Safety Belt Training (Optional, but Recommended for Residents with Children)
- This section provides information on American laws regarding the transport of children in automobiles.
- You will need audio capabilities (i.e., speakers, headphones) when viewing the videos.
Required time: Varies depending on number of videos watched.
Section 5: Important Information about Living in University Apartments (Optional)
- This section provides important information regarding University Apartments rules and regulations

To take quizes: Have your Net ID and Password available as you will be required to login to take the quizzes. NOTE: The quiz system will be unavailable from midnight to 2am CST. You will not be able to take the quizzes during that 2 hour block.
To log out: After you have logged in, you can logout of the online orientation at any time by clicking on LOGOUT at the bottom of the left-hand menu and closing your browser.
